Position: ASSISTANT DIRECTOR for WEEKDAY
SCHOOL
Aldersgate Weekday School is currently accepting
applications for Assistant Director. Position is part time, Monday –
Friday, 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. Applicant must have a love for God and children,
have a 4 year degree in Education, Management or related field.
Responsibilities include: assist the director in administering a quality
Children’s Weekday Program for children from ages 6 weeks old to 5 years
old. The program provides an enriching pre-school experience for children,
which includes time for recreation, creativity, class work, projects,
socialization, and nutrition.
The
assistant director is responsible for the curriculum development for each
classroom of age specific children, assisting with planning and organization
of staff development training. The assistant director ensures the safety of
children by adhering to prescribed procedures and communicates effectively
with staff, parents, and children.
